Course Summary and Objectives:
The purpose of this course is to introduce first-year students of English to the main aspects pertaining to American history and culture. The course covers different topics related to history, geography, society, religion and so on at introductory level.
Our aim is to foster a greater understanding and appreciation for this new course and improve students‟ knowledge of the English language through َAmerican life and history.
Assessment:Written exams (60%) and continuous Assessment (40%)
