This course introduces first-year university students to the essential methods and tools required for successful academic work. It aims to familiarize students with the structure and expectations of university study, helping them transition from high school learning habits to higher education standards.

Students will learn how to gather, analyze, and organize information using different types of documentation—classical, audiovisual, and digital. The course also focuses on developing reading comprehension, note-taking techniques, writing skills for academic and scientific purposes, and oral presentation strategies.

By the end of the semester, students will be able to read critically, summarize effectively, write clear and coherent reports, and deliver well-organized oral presentations. These skills will form the foundation for their future research activities and professional communication.
